16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children
The 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children is an international awareness-raising campaign. It takes place every year from 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to 10 December (International Human Rights Day). The period includes Universal Children’s Day and World AIDS Day. Childline KZN is proud to be an active participant in this awareness raising campaign about the negative impact of violence against woman and children.
We encourage every person to be active participants in the fight to eradicate Violence against Woman and Children.
Childline KZN has embarked on various campaigns during this period one of which was the Mannequin Challenge at North Beach on the 2 December 2016. It proved to be a novel and exciting even with members of the public joining in.
